On December 8th, 2015 I was diagnosed with ALS/ Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
To be honest I always figured that if any disease found it’s way to me it would be cancer. Too many family members have suffered and died from cancer. It’s a wretched disease; but not one that is without hope. For the past two years I’ve had some issues that pointed strongly toward MS. I could live with that. [No pun intended]. But ALS? This was never on my radar. I actually didn’t even know what ALS was. Until I googled it. Don’t ever google it. So now I’m on an ALS Journey. Come follow along with me because I have no idea where it is going to take me or for how long.
